DANIELLE & KYLE | Wedding

November 19, 2008 – 11:16 pm

Danielle & Kyle met at USD so it was fitting that they sealed their vows there. We’ve shot at Founder’s Hall many times but this is the first time that we saw candles lighting the aisle down to the alter.  It looked beautiful!!! :)  Danielle looked absolutely stunning and I was so in love with the necklace she chose to wear that day.  It was a perfect compliment to her gorgeous dress!

Hey Guys!  What an incredible wedding!  No detail was spared from the candles down the aisle to the votive place cards to the chocolate covered scones!  It was such an honor for us to witness your love for eachother and the closeness you guys share with your family & friends.  Don’t worry Danielle…we didn’t put any crying photos of you! :)  We think you look so cute when you’re about to cry but we know you don’t feel the same! :)  Hope you guys had a great time in Europe!

MIKE & REBECCA | Wedding

I loved the simplicity of Mike & Rebecca’s wedding.  They used beautfil mosaic tiled candle holders as their centerpieces that created the most beautiful glow in the Loggia Room.  As we strolled around Balboa Park, there were several stargazers out at the park who let us look through their telescopes.  It was very fitting that we were able to see Venus, named for the Roman Goddess of love, on their wedding day since these two are absolutely ga ga for eachother! :)

BRET & KASEY | Wedding

We love hanging out with Bret & Kasey.  We know that a night with them will entail lots of great conversation and even more aching facial muscles from laughing so much.  It’s for this reason that we were super excited to photograph their wedding.  And they did not disappoint!  Their day was so relaxed and so much fun  — just like them.

Hey Guys!  Where do we start? :)  Thank you for not just being our clients but for being our friends. (do we sound like the Hair Club for Men commercial yet? :) )  We had an AMAZING time with you and can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos!  When you get back from your honeymoon…it’s time for some din din!  =)  Have a great time in the land of OZ!!

DON AND MARY ANN | wedding

Don and Mary Ann got ready at the Empress Hotel and we photographed themas we trekked to the La Jolla Cove Bridge Club, where they celebrated their marriage. These two are just about the most easy going couple on earth. Pretty much everything went off without a hitch and if there were any kinks…you’d never know it cause nothing phased them!  They had a pretty great army of friends & family behind them to make sure things ran smoothly too! :)  That always helps!

Don and Mary Ann-  You guys are so perfect for eachother in every way possible. Thank you for being so incredibly easy going and fun!  Mary Ann, you looked sooooooo beautiful!  We are still so jealous that you spent 3 weeks in Australia for your honeymoon!

Oh..thanks for picking up our light! hehehehe. =)  Our insurance company thanks you too! :)

KELLY & STUART | Wedding

I absolutely LOVED where Kelly and Stuart got married.  It was in a quaint little chapel located inside the gates of Kelly’s old high school.  It was a real treat to be able to explore the interiors of the original buildings some dating back to the early 1900s.  Here’s a fun little tidbit — Bring It On with Kirsten Dunst was filmed here. :)  And though Kelly nor Stuart appeared in that movie they are in our eyes — SUPERSTARS! :)  They were both too easy to work with and just, well, so alive and full of sparks.

Kelly & Stuart  —  You guys are incredible!  We had such an amazing time with you two and all your friends & family.  Stuart, your friends were especially hilarious and had us cracking up all night.  Kelly, well, your gal pals are almost as sassy as you are and i had a great time roaming the grounds with you guys!  BIG HUGS TO LILY and smooches to Pete & Elizabeth!!!

The wedding and reception was held at the beautiful Omni hotel in the Gaslamp District. Carly, being an interior designer, designed her weddingscape and did an impeccable job pulling off their modern, asian theme.  She and her girlfriends even made origami table names in the shape of cranes!!  Oh, their cake actually looked like a stack of pillows..pretty impressive! 

Carly and Brandon- Congrats to you guys again on such a gorgeous wedding!  Brandon…thank you for serving our country again!  See you guys soon!

Patricia has got to be one of the most organized & prompt brides ever!  EVERYTHING ran on time.  It’s always a great thing cause then they get more time for photos! :)  Patricia and Robert also opted to see eachother beforehand which was a double plus!  We shot around the grounds of L’Auberge then ventured down to the beach for some portraits.  It was such a gorgeous day and we could not have asked for a better couple to hang out with that day!

We have to give a shout out to Sharon and her crew for taking good care of us and ensuring that their event ran smoothly.  And we can’t forget to mention Tim who not only had the dance floor going all night but also had the coolest Gobo displayed in the courtyard fountain.

Patricia & Robert — it was an absolute joy getting to know you guys and being there to document your day.   Everything turned out wonderfully!

JOSEPH AND CELINA| Wedding

October 13, 2008 – 6:18 pm

We had shot their engagement session a few months back and we were really looking forward to their big day.  Joseph and Celina were married at St. Joseph’s Church with their reception at the Hyatt Grand Manchester.  Their ballroom looked fantastic and was one of the larger weddings we photographed this year.  Everything ran perfectly thanks to Lynn and her staff and Darryl did a great job on their day of video.  Jennifer Cole’s flowers looked awesome and Concept’s Event Design topped it off with beautiful linens!

Joseph and Celina- Thanks so much for allowing us to photograph your special day.  We hope it was as good for you as it was for us!!!  hehehehehe.  :)

KURT & JENNI | Engagement

October 9, 2008 – 4:50 am

I know we say this a lot but we just can’t help it — we have really COOL clients!  And these two are no exception.  We met them on a Monday.  They booked us on Tuesday then we shot their e-session on Wednesday.   We could’ve shot them all night long (in fact, we almost did!).

So what contributed to the success of this e-session?  Tequila.  Check.  Great attitudes.  Check.  Fun personalities.  Check.  Kurt leaping around on command no questions asked.  Check. Check.

Hey Guys!  We had a GREAT time with you!  Thanks for being super fun and making your session muy caliente!  Can’t wait to show you the rest of your images!
